Delight is now 10 months old and busy, busy, busy! She must explore every inch of the house, chase the dogs, pick all the tiny crumbs off the floor, and test boundaries as much as possible. You think all this would wear her out, but she's like the energizer bunny and never stops! She's certainly wearing me out! We finally baby proofed some of the drawers and cabinets. I can't get used to the latches and am always yanking them open too fast.
The warm weather has been great. Delight loves spending time in her swing and has recently started crying when I go to get her out. She also likes to "help" me put clothes on the line. She really just stands up at the basket and tries to take all my clean clothes and throw them on the ground.
The yard and garden is keeping Sam and I busy. Sam's been working on the bathroom and he's getting really close to being done with the tub, so Delight won't have to take sink baths any more!

Here's Delight driving the car down the lane. She's a multi-tasker. She can drive and eat the steering wheel at the same time.

Girls gotta talk!

She'll love these pictures when she's a teenager....

Having a great time in her kiddie pool.

Her first boat trip. We did a little fishing with Mark and Carol. She was not a fan of the life vest. We took it off when we stopped.

Here she is playing in her cabinet in the kitchen. She knows how to make a mess. I just can't wait till she knows how to clean it up!

Jumping with cousin Amia!

Mommy's little helper shucking some corn.

Here's a few pictures from Delight's 9 month photo shoot. Once again, I waited till she was almost too old to call them 9 month pictures, but oh well.

She's had enough

This picture fits Delight's personality to a T. She loves to yell and be funny and to get you to laugh. She's loud. She'll just yell out of the blue and starts to laugh when I jump. She's very out going. Wants to talk to everyone in town and is just plain goofy. She doesn't seem to be scared of anything either. She chases the vacuum around and tries to grab it.
And did I mention she's loud?
One cute little chick.
